What
should I expect immediately after my operation?
Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty involve only brief anesthesia
for 30-60 minutes. You may be quite sleepy and irritable
for much of the day. The anesthesia may also cause you
to feel nauseated. Within 24 hours your nausea should
resolve.
