Dr. Raza Pasha, MD
Dr. Raza Pasha is a Board Certified, Ear, Nose, and Throat – Head and Neck Surgeon with extensive training and research experience. Although Dr. Pasha is trained in all fields of Ears, Nose, and Throat medicine, he has a special interest specifically with sleep apnea, snoring, allergy, and sinus disorders. Dr. Pasha is the medical director of the Pasha Snoring and Sinus Center and has spent a great deal of time personally creating and designing the educational material as well as the protocols that you may receive.
Dr. Pasha has become a leader in the latest methods for snoring and sinus related disorders. He is Houston’s leading provider for the Pillar procedure™ for snorers as well as Influent’s Hyoid Advancement/Tongue Stabilization procedure for severe sleep apnea. He is also a pioneer of minimally invasive methods to address recurrent sinus disease including participating in studies in Balloon Sinuplasty™. Dr. Pasha is frequently featured in the press including KHOU Channel 11, KPRC Channel 2, and About.com. He also has a monthly-featured segment on Great Day Houston.
To receive certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Pasha graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Miami University, completed four years of medical school at Case Western Reserve, and five years of specialty training in Detroit, Michigan at Wayne State University. During this residency, Dr. Pasha was recognized as resident of the year.
Dr. Pasha has been published in many medical journals. He has also completed research in many institutions including The Cleveland Clinic, Texas Medical Center, Detroit Medical Center, and Ohio State University. One of Dr. Pasha’s more notable achievements was the publication of a highly rated, best selling review book in Ear, Nose, and Throat-Head and Neck Surgery, which is being published in its third edition.
As an advocate for patient health, Dr. Pasha is an active member of the Harris County Medical Association serving as a member of the Health Plan Liaison Committee. This committee allows Dr. Pasha to be face-to-face with Houston’s medical directors of the major insurance carriers. He also serves as the medical director for Oprex Surgery Center and one of the founders of Altus Healthcare Management Services. Dr. Pasha is also affiliated with several other professional associations including Texas Medical Association, American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
